NDW Mourns Foremost PWD Advocate Prince Sunday Adelabu

  



 

The First and top-notch largest coalition of the Network of Women with disabilities NDW have expressed a deep sense of loss over the death of a foremost distinguished advocate for persons with disabilities in the country Prince  Sunday Adelabu on Thursday 29th July 2021.

 

Mrs Lois Auta the president and founder of the NWD expressed a deep sense of loss decrying the huge vacuum created by the demise of prince Sunday Adelabu.

 

Speaking on behalf of the NDW she said

  "The disability community in Nigeria lost a father figure ". Mr Adelabu has  been at the part of Disability struggling from the beginning as the  first President of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities,

Prince Paul Adelabu was also a seasoned politician, a former Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Oyo State until his death, he was the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).

 

Adelabu was a social worker and one of the pioneer  distinguished members of the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW), Oyo State chapter.

 

He had also served as Principal to Rehabilitation Center for people with disabilities in Moniya, Ibadan.

 

Mrs Lois Auta and the entire coalition of Network of Women with Disabilities expresses sincerest condolences with the family and the entire disability community and the Nation.

KT-ONE brings new spice to Afrobeat





Asoegwu Anthony Chukwunonso, popularly known as KT-ONE is the next big thing in the music industry.

 

The creative songwriter, Afropop artist and an entertainer, born in Delta state on April 4, but he’s originally from UTUH in NNEWI SOUTH Anambra state .

KT-ONE started his music career quite from an early age but later had a break due to the idea of parents who never believed musicians could earn a living through music.

He’s tried all he could to pretend the talent never existed but somehow, he found himself recording songs during the lockdown and friends who never knew he had such talent heard his songs and encouraged him to put them out as no time is late to kick off what u believe in.

KT-ONE mixes the blend of contemporary Afrobeats with the spice of folklore renaissance, which gives his music peculiar sound that stands him out in the Nigerian contemporary music space.

 

With his debut hit single in the offing, KT-ONE believes that he is the new biggest thing coming on the Nigerian music scene.

According to the raw talent, leading musicians who have willingly offered to feature on his forthcoming body of work gives him the confidence that he’s doing something right.
