Photos: Kenyan man chops off his penis and throws it to dog, says it was of no use to him

Residents of Naivasha are reeling from shock after a man chopped off his private parts and threw them to a dog saying they were of no value to him.

According to the Star Kenya, on Wednesday, March 29th, the man from Karai started with a razor blade but finished cutting off his penis with a knife.
Screams from his on one-room house attracted members of the public who called police for help

After about 30 minutes of writhing in pain and heavy bleeding, the man was taken to Naivasha subcounty hospital. Joseph Chege, a resident, told journalists they found the man half naked and bleeding heavily.
"The man claimed the Bible ordered him to discard any body part that would deter him from entering heaven," Chege said.

Chege also said the man worked in one of the quarries and never interacted with residents. Another neighbour, James Kabono who described the incident as shocking, said they were trying to understand why the man harmed himself.
"He decided to cut off the most important part of the body," Kabono said.
A woman at the scene claimed the man was impotent and decided to sever the body part "as it was not of any service to him".

Joseph Mburu, the superintendent in charge of the hospital, who confirmed the incident said the man was in critical condition.
"He has been taken to the theatre...we hope he shall recover," he said

UNIJOS: Increase In Fees, Not Reversible- Administration

Despite public outcry and condemnation of recent hike in school fees by University of Jos from N27, 000 to N45, 000, the management of the institution weekend insisted there was no going back on the implementation of the new fees once the new session begins next month.

While students, parents and guardians had faulted and rejected the hike at a time when most families could barely feed and address other immediate needs, the management said it was not moved by public reactions saying its action was based on the implementation of the Federal Government approved harmonized charges for all undergraduate students in federal universities in Nigeria.

In a statement by the institution’s Registrar/Secretary to Council/Senate, Mr.  Monday Danjem, the management among others, said: “The University Management feels compelled to put the issues in clear perspective so that the public is not misled.

The University of Jos Management was in receipt of a letter from the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC) dated 22nd January, 2015 conveying the newly approved schedule of harmonized school charges to Senate/governing councils of all federal universities for immediate implementation,” part of the statement read

Foston Utomi’s wife ends their marriage on their one year anniversary

News broke last week that Patoranking's label boss, Foston Utomi, CEO of Foston Musik, battered his wife, Ajoke and threatened to drown her in her blood.

The couple were to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary yesterday but Ajoke has announced the marriage is over.

This was a couple that met on Instagram and Ajoke was so happy when they were about to tie the knot that he held her hand and supported her despite her parents' resistance because she got pregnant with their son, Kendrick while in school.

Ajoke had shared photos of her self covered in blood and said her husband striped to his underwear in
front of her & his friends and battered her for hours. His friends, she said weren't able to subdue him as he was allegedly determined to kill her.

Ajoke added she has forgiven her estranged husband:
This time last year you were full of smiles, laughing and dancing like I've never seen you. You were HAPPY. And you made sure I had a perfect day. I didn't get my happily ever after, and yes you did awful unimaginable things to me, but knowing God has a plan for me or he wouldn't have counted me worthy of even seeing today, makes me choose to only count all the beautiful times you went out of your way just to make me laugh and make me happy.

Today I was staring at our amazing son while he slept, i forgave you and I prayed for you for the first time in all these months, that you conquer your demons and find peace and happiness and I genuinely this morning, wished you a great life. Our marriage is over, and it's for the best, but today will always hold fond memories for me.
